EA's tech support BLOWS! Big time! They apparently don't know the difference between CAS and CAW, though there is clearly a spelling difference. The guy(Sam) suggested that I go to simprograms to update my CAS, since a update specifically for CAS is located there.
1. No, a update for CAW is located there, not CAS
2. If a update was available, shouldn't it be located at the sims 3 website?
He then suggested I clear my browser cache. Huh? What does my internet have to do with in-game play?
Note to EA: Tech support should be able to do more than spew some answers that they are reading off of a script. Having some knowledge of what they are trying to fix may actually help.
